Fumus

The Fumus are a species that can survive on Morallus because of it's bad atmosphere.
Many years ago they were Gians who were extremely heavy smokers, and because of this were banished from Gia, to Pshycoloria (because they were becoming a big problem).  However these 30 or so individuals managed to takeover the ship, only to crash it into Morallus. The ships crew were now dead, and the smokers stayed in the ship, trying to live of the limited supply's. They were such heavy smokers that the ship was full of smoke within the first day, and when smoking material began to run out they were forced to slowly take the ship apart to find suitable smoking material. Whist trying to light some cables and a motherboard, there was a a huge explosion which burst the ship to pieces, flooding the ships remains with the toxic air of Morallus. This suffocated all the smokers- but their souls escaped into the atmosphere- but not invisible as normal, covered in smoke- looking like ghosts.

The species was confirmed on 03:23:28 by the IPGB and lives on Morallus to this day. They speak a very raspy version of English, and so are considered mildly intelligent.
