Saburram Draco
Dragon of the Mountian
The Saburram Draco is the Rock Dragon. It lives in the mountainous regions of Gia, making itself at home in both the Erebus Mountains and the Autem mountains.
The Saburram is a grey, true Dragon, with rough rock-like textured scales. They live in the mountanus regions of Gia, and either live totally exposed, relying on their camouflage to hide them, or live hidden in mountainous caverns, rarely venturing out into the open.
Anatomy:
The Saburran is a large dragon, reaching around 25 ft (7.5 m) tall from head to foot., with an average wing span of 30ft . They have large strong jaws, and thus was assumned that they ate rock and other material of a hard nature, however it has since been proven wrong. The scales on this dragon are dull, grey rocky colours. The scales create perfect camoflage against a scree scape, or rough rocky mountain.
Saburran can fly, however once they reatch a large size tend not to. As younger dragons they fly around the mountains finding the best place to settle for when they become larger. It is thaught that they tend not to fly when they become large, as they fear distroying things, hence why they live in the mountains, as they can do little dammage there.
Although these giants are gentle, durring courtship and mating the thoughts of doing damage slip from their mind, and if in the wrong location, havoc can be caused, with huge damages.

Interaction with Gians:
Saburran are very strong beasts, and so this trait has been used by the Gians to help with moving large natural objects. Their gentle nature means they are calm, and so the risk of destroying things in small. They are often used for clearing trees, as they do little damage to the tree, its wood can still be used afterwords.
The hide of a Saburran is highly effective as waterproofing houses, or forming tiles to create roofs. Although tough, the hide is surprisingly light. It has been commented by visitors to Gia that the hide would make exceptional armour.

Diet:
A Saburran's diet consists of ritch nutriance's found in the rocks of the mountians on Gia. It has recently been discovered that they lick the rocks, slowly eroding away the rocks, consuming the nutriance from within. Tests have shown that the rocks are high in chloride salts.
